Aurum Medical Publishing welcomes authors from all over the world to share their innovative research on any scientific or medical topic in their area of expertise. To ensure that the submission process goes smoothly and the authors are submitting the right type of article, we have outlined the different types of articles we publish below.

Original Article
An original article should contain no more than 7000 words, an abstract with a word limit of 250 words, a maximum of 5 tables and 5 figures, and up to 40 references. It should present new and original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

Review Article
Review articles survey and summarize previously published studies rather than reporting new facts or analysis. A review article should contain no more than 6000 words, an abstract with a word limit of 250 words, and up to 40 references

Case Report
A case report is a detailed report of the symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of an individual patient. The article should contain no more than 3000 words, an abstract with a word limit of 250 words, and a maximum of 30 references. Submitted case reports should be unique and the clinical observations should be made on one or more patients.

Editorial
An editorial manuscript should contain no more than 1000 words and a maximum of 10 references. Editorial board members are invited to submit editorials that comment on recently published articles or highlight ongoing research in the area of interest.

Special Issue Articles
Special issue articles are scientific reports of original research in areas such as economic policy, ethics, law, and health care delivery. The text is limited to 2700 words, with an abstract, a maximum of 8 tables and figures, and up to 40 references.

Mini Review
A mini-review is a concise review of a particular area where the references need to be cited within the past 5 years. The article should contain no more than 3000 words, an abstract with a word limit of 250 words, and a maximum of 40 references.

Letter to the Editor
Letters to the editor provide a forum for readers to comment on articles recently published in the journal and a place to publish concise articles, such as reports of novel cases.

Perspective
Perspective articles are brief, accessible pieces covering a wide variety of timely topics relevant to health care and medicine. Perspective articles are limited to 1000 to 1200 words and usually include one figure or table.

Images
Images are an important part of much of what we do and learn in medicine. This feature is intended to capture the sense of visual discovery and variety that physicians experience.

Clinical Images
Clinical images are preferred to be in formats such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, and PowerPoint. This section includes figures, their title, and description. Figure legends should not be repeated in text. Figures should be numbered in order as per cited in the text part.
